For our Christmas present this year, we decided to drive up the California
coastline on Hwy 1 and 101 to watch the winter storms out in the Pacific and to
explore the areas. We stopped in Ft. Bragg, Eureka, Crescent City, California
and then Brookings, Oregon before returning home on Christmas Eve. We had a
great time visiting lighthouses, beaches, marinas and the Redwood forest as
